This Raku base holds the details of it's dramatic raku firing process with organic carbon flashing across it crackle white glaze finish.
BEND is a collaboration between Tom Lehman (Ceramics artist) and Ben Gross (Neon artist) with the assistance of Danielle Clare Pomorski.
Each torch in this collection is a wheel thrown and raku fired white stoneware base that has custom hand bent glass tube filled with inert gas and elegantly suspended into the base through an opaque layer of resin. These two skilled and labor intensive processes come together to create distinctive lighting pieces.
